There you will learn on their historical daily life’s standards, customs and tradition of Iraqw tribe, starting from how their traditional wedding ceremony used to be and taught on how to make their traditional wedding dresses.

Then you will taken to see the underground house which they used to hide during their traditional war with the Maasai tribe and Iraqw tribe back then, visit coffee plantation, you will be shown how coffee is harvested and processed, also you will get an opportunity to have a cup of fresh coffee, then you will visit local school, and then you will have an opportunity to learn to cook an Iraqw local traditional food. How the food is been cooked in a traditional pots.

After lunch, you will proceed to small town in Karatu to visit the local markets and the daily life of the people around the area. This tour can be a Full day Tour but we can also offer 2 to 3 hours tour depending on your preference.
